SPACE RUNNER

[Space] Runner puts you in control of a hopeless astronaut running for their life from an evil alien horde unfortunately you won't be able to escape their clutches eventually you will succumb to the horde. But luckily for you our handy SCORE-OTRON keeps track of each unsuccessful attempt and lets your proudly show off the distance you ran. There are always more astronauts to sacrifice in your attempt to beat your high score.

Well one of many you's,  don't get too attached. these poor souls they wont last very long. Utilize your skills of ducking and jumping and running for your life to dodge the aliens that are thirsting for you flesh.

The Enemies

An endless horde of monsters bent on total galactic domination, their horde is made a variety of lifeforms that were corrupted. From flying beasts to poor humans nothing is safe from their grasp.  Look out for even more variants in your escape attempts!

[Space] Runner was made by Team13 as part of a paper on Game Design Principles at Media Design School and included Simon Aitken on environmental coding, Callum Boyce on character controls,   Emerson Davy on enemy, prop and environmental art, Sam Clark on UI and player art and Georgia Willmot audio and environmental art. This was a first year project for both Bachelor of Creative Technology and Bachelor of Software Engineering.
